The UAPB Chancellor’s Medallion is the highest honor presented during the commencement ceremony. The award is given to graduates with the highest grade point average (GPA) in their academic school. The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB) announced five students as the 2023 Fall Chancellor’s Medallion recipients, and they will be honored at the 168th commencement ceremony during its sesquicentennial year on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2023, at the Pine Bluff Convention Center.

Kaea Ja’nea Archer | HOMETOWN: Fordyce, AR |HIGH SCHOOL: Fordyce High School | GPA: 3.952 | MAJOR: Criminal Justice
Ms. Archer’s Career Goals: My desire is to become an advocate for criminal defendants with mental health challenges. I have been accepted into the Master of Arts in Counseling Program at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where I will specialize in Clinical Mental Health. Upon completion of the master’s degree, I will be attending law school to pursue a career as a criminal defense attorney.
