UAPB has exciting news regarding scholarship opportunities for high school seniors and undergraduate to graduate-level college students. The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (tmcg.org) has opened the first wave of their 2024-2025 scholarship cycle. TMCF’s mission is to promote educational excellence, prepare the next generation of workforce talent through leadership development, and ensure student success by alleviating the worries of financial stress. TMCG webinars and virtual office hours start on January 23, and the application process closes on March 8, 2023.
The attached downloadable one-pager highlights their first-wave scholarship opportunities for all majors, including STEM-, Business-, and Sustainability-related majors, graduate students, and high school seniors.
In addition, the TMCF Scholarships Team will also host a webinar series on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at 5:30 pm CST and again on Wednesday, February 24, 2024, at 5:30 pm CST. The webinars are designed to assist students in putting their best brand forward when completing the TMCF Scholarships Application. Students who attend will receive tips on best practices for the application video essays and common mistakes to avoid when applying. Registration is required.
