Micheaux Award & Film Labs Offers Pine Bluff Creatives Two Spectacular Events Including Podcast Lab for UAPB Students

Pine Bluff, AR – The Micheaux Award & Film Labs launches a two-day event aimed to educate and uplift creatives of color in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. The program, Nurture the Narrative, will support the community by providing a podcast lab for the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, Multimedia Communication students, and hosting a social where creatives and community residents can connect, featuring a short film screening by UAPB Alumna, Neba Evans, focused on nurturing the narrative of the city.
The Nurture the Narrative event will begin on November 3, 2023, on the campus of the University of Arkansas Pine Bluff. Students who register will take part in a half-a-day intensive from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. focused on podcast creation. The following day, November 4, 2023, the event will continue with a networking social and documentary screening of A Song of the Bluff at the ARTSpace on Main.
