A vegetable production workshop is set for Friday, March 1, at the Jefferson County Cooperative Extension Service Building, 500 South Idaho Street, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. The workshop will begin at 9 a.m. and will end after lunch at 1 p.m.
The workshop will focus on insect, disease and weed management in vegetable production. Also, a Farm Service Agency (FSA) representative will be on hand to answer questions about farm loans.
The workshop is being conducted through a partnership between the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Small Farm Program, the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service and the U.S. Department of Agriculture Farm Service Agency.
