Vegetable Production Workshop Set for March 1

veg-prodA vegetable production workshop is set for Friday, March 1, at the Jefferson County Cooperative Extension Service Building, 500 South Idaho Street, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. The workshop will begin at 9 a.m. and will end after lunch at 1 p.m.

The workshop will focus on insect, disease and weed management in vegetable production. Also, a Farm Service Agency (FSA) representative will be on hand to answer questions about farm loans.

The workshop is being conducted through a partnership between the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff Small Farm Program, the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service and the U.S. Department of Agriculture Farm Service Agency.
