The fall 2018 graduating class of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB) will be celebrating an important milestone in their lives during fall commencement exercises. The event will be held Friday, December 14 in the Pine Bluff Convention Center Arena. To provide each graduate and their family the best experience possible, the following logistics will need to be observed.
On the day of the event, the procession of graduates will begin at 9:45 a.m. with the ceremony beginning at 10:00 a.m. ADA seating on the arena floor will be available under the guidance of convention center attendants. To minimize disruptions and distractions during commencement, attendees are asked to remain in the arena from the procession to recession.
Free parking will be available in the lot located on the corner of E. 10th avenue and S. Missouri streets, the lot adjacent to the Plaza Hotel located on the corner of E. 11th avenue and S. Tennessee streets, with ADA accessible parking behind the convention center in lot D. Individuals that park on the following lots may be towed: A-Team Temporary Service, Area Agency on Aging, Senior Citizen Center, Workforce development, or Jefferson Comprehensive Care.
