Quinton Wade, a native of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, accepted the position of Software Engineer with Lockheed Martin in Boulder, Colorado. Lockheed Martin is an American global aerospace, defense, security and advanced technologies company.
Wade will receive a master’s degree in Computer Science and Technology in December 2017. His start work date for Lockheed Martin is June 1, 2017. He took advantage of the opportunities available through the Office of Career Services and has reaped the benefits of utilizing those services.
Wade received multiple offers after attending the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Convention in Kansas City, Missouri and the International Organization of Black Security Executive (IOBSE) Conference in Bentonville, Arkansas. After evaluating the offers, he decided Lockheed Martin was the best decision. His salary range will be $85,000 – $90,000 per year plus relocation expenses.
