The Division of Graduate Studies and Continuing Education has collaborated with the Department of Health, Physical Education and Recreation to offer Lifeguard training classes. Those interested in the classes must be 16 years of age and older and pay a one-time cost of $225.00 for books and materials. A pretest will be administered March 29 and March 31 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
All training classes will be held in the Kenneth L. Johnson, Sr. Health, Physical Education and Recreation (HPER) Complex, 9:00 am to 6:00 p.m. on April 1 and April 8, and 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. April 2 and April 9.
