UAPB seeking public comment for nursing program accreditation review

The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff is seeking national accreditation of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Degree Program from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) is asking for public comment from its constituents. CCNE site visitors will conduct an on-site evaluation October 16- 19, 2016.

Program constituents including students, alumni, clinical agency representatives, and the public are invited to submit comments concerning the BSN program’s qualifications for accreditation status. CCNE will share comments with the site visitors prior to the visit. However, at no time will comments be shared with UAPB, the Accreditation Review Committee, or the CCNE Board.  During its review of the program, the evaluation team considers third-party comments, if any, that relate to the accreditation standards. Comments must be received by the CCNE by September 16, 2016.
