Learn About Housing Opportunities at Parkdale Meeting

Residents will have an opportunity to learn about area housing opportunities at a public meeting Tuesday, July 26, at 5 p.m. at the Parkdale City Hall, 126 Main Street.

Representatives from the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development will give a presentation on available programs. Specific programs to be covered include the 502 program for purchasing or construction of dwellings, the 502 program for purchasing manufactured housing and the 504 program for grants and loans to repair existing homes. Applications will be available at the meeting, and representatives will help with filling out the applications.
