PINE BLUFF, Ark. – A livestock production meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 18, at the Boys, Girls, Adults Community Development Center (BGACDC) in Marvell, Ark. The meeting will get underway at 9 a.m. and end with lunch at 12:30 p.m.
The meeting will focus on beef cattle and goats. Topics include herd health, parasite control, dewormers, beef cattle herd health vaccination schedules, adjustment of winter feeding for nursing cows, getting ready for calving, pasture weed control, cow-calf economics and the Conservation Stewardship Program for livestock.
