UAPB Chancellor, Women’s Soccer Team to visit Los Angeles September 18-20

LOS ANGELES, CA. – University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB) Chancellor Dr. Laurence B. Alexander and the Women’s Soccer team will be visiting Los Angeles, California September 18-20. Led by Coach Rohan Naraine, UAPB’s Soccer team will play the University of Southern California Women’s Soccer team on Friday, September 19 at 3PM at USC McAlister Field in Los Angeles. On Saturday, September 20 at 12 noon Chancellor Alexander will address UAPB/AM&N alumni at a luncheon at the Carson Community Center. Southern California is home to over three thousand alumni; notably California State University Board of Trustee Dr. Herbert Carter, Physician Dr. Vonnie Ross, Lt. Colonel Sol and Helen Jamison, Sam and Zelma Staples, Lonzell and Leatha Branch, COGIC Bishop George McKinney and retired Systems Engineer Hardy Thrower (San Diego), Retired California State University at San Bernardino Professor Dr. Mildred Dalton Henry, School of Nursing Instructor Jean Perkins Stevenson and UAPB Alumni Association Board member representing the Far West Region Eunice Williamson (Riverside ).
