PINE BLUFF, Ark. – The second summer session (July 8 – August 9) at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB) will be offered online only according to university officials. Admission and registration is available online at http://www.uapb.edu.
“As the university moves into more online course offerings and programs, this summer session will be used as a pilot for delivery using this platform,” said Dr. Mary E. Benjamin, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs.
“It is important that we adapt to the needs of students by offering an affordable solution to education,” said UAPB Interim Chancellor Dr. Calvin Johnson. “This will allow flexible, convenient access to University resources during the summer and help students move toward their goal of obtaining a college degree.”
Available classes range from core curriculum to courses needed to continue in major fields of study. Classes are offered via Blackboard™ at www.uapb.edu . Tutorials are also available for first time attendees of online instruction.
