Praxis Workshops underway at UAPB

PINE BLUFF, Ark. – The School of Education at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff has begun a series of workshops for Praxis test readiness. A Praxis test is one of a series of American teacher certification
exams written and administered by the Educational Testing Service. Various Praxis tests are usually required before, during, and after teacher training courses in the U.S.

The objectives of the free workshop are to: learn how to properly prepare for the Praxis I tests; understand the Praxis I test content and concepts; and understand the registration procedures and costs for the Praxis I tests.

The next workshop will focus on the Praxis I Reading component and will be held Thursday, March 28 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in Dawson-Hicks Hall, room 106. The last workshop will focus on the Praxis I Mathematics component and will be held Wednesday, April 3 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in Dawson-Hicks Hall, Learning Plus Lab Room 122.

To register for the workshops, please contact: James Jackson, Learning Plus Lab Coordinator at 870-575-8310 or jacksonj@uapb.edu; or Willie Mae Nesby, Director of Field Experiences at 870-575-8742 or nesbyw@uapb.edu.

  2. Hi there just wanted to give you a quick heads up.
The text in your content seem to be runniing off the screen in Ie.
I’m not sure if this iss a format issue or something to
do with web browser compatibility but I thought I’d
post to let you know. The style and design look great though!
Hope you get the problem resolved soon. Cheers
