PINE BLUFF, Ark. – Aaliysha Kesha’ Brown of Eudora, Arkansas was recently awarded an University Scholarship from the Office of Recruitment at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB). To be eligible for the Academic Scholarship, a student must have a minimum ACT score of 21 and a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The University Scholarship pays full tuition, room and board.
Ms. Brown is the daughter of Bevelyn Kennedy and Lee Van Brown, and will graduate in May from Lakeside High School in Lake Village, AR. Her main activities include Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA), Journalism, National Honor’s Society and the Gifted and Talented Program. Ms. Brown will major in Pre-Pharmacy at UAPB with plans on obtaining a PhD after completing her bachelor’s degree.
“I selected UAPB to attend college because it has a great environment, excellent opportunities and they offer great programs,” Brown said. “The Academic Scholarship will help me attend this prestigious university and receive an education that only UAPB can offer.”
