Hamburg High School student receives UAPB scholarship

PINE BLUFF, Ark. – Kiarra Nicole Wilson of Hamburg, Arkansas recently received a University Scholarship from the Office of Recruitment at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB). To be eligible for the University Scholarship, a student must have a minimum ACT score of 23 and a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher. The University Scholarship pays full tuition, room and board.

Ms. Wilson is the grand-daughter of Maggie Ware and the daughter of Kanesha Wallace, and will graduate in May from Hamburg High School. Her main activities include cheerleader, softball, Spanish Club, Leadership Class and Honor Society. Ms. Wilson has a strong academic preparation maintaining a 3.5 GPA. Ms. Wilson plans to major in Biochemistry at UAPB with plans on becoming a Nurse Anesthetist or an Anesthesiologist upon completing her degree.
